SHARING OPTIMISM SINCE 1958
The Optimist Club of Richfield is dedicated to ''Bringing Out the Best in Kids'' and do our part through community service programs.
Our club meets every Wednesday morning at the Richfield Bloomington Honda building. Located at 501 West 77th Street, please use the east side Service Entrance & take the elevator to the second floor community room. We begin promptly at 7:30 and end at 8:30 a.m. Coffee, rolls/donuts are available for a $2 donation. Fellowship, sharing of positive things, club committee news & a program.
As part of Optimists International, we support the Mission and Vision of the association while conducting service projects for the youth in our own community.
The Optimist Creed
Promise yourself....
To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness & prosperity to every person you meet.
To make all your friends feel that there is something in them.
To look at the sunny side of everything & make your optimism come true.
To think only of the best, work only for the best & expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.
To forget the mistakes of the past & press on to the greater achievements of the future.
To wear a cheerful countenance at all times & give every living creature a smile.
To give so much time to the improvement of yourself you have no time to criticize others.
To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear & too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
