Internet Safety for Parents

Today’s youth are very technologically savvy. Allowing them to spend large amounts of time online without any supervision or rules, however, is like allowing them to explore a major metropolitan city by themselves. The Internet offers an enormous array of entertainment and educational resources, but also presents risks.  Internet Safety presentation for Parents. Jill Mecklenburg, Certified Crime Prevention Specialist from the Richfield Police Department, will teach parents how they can take an active role in monitoring their children’s use of technology. Discussion and strategy sharing will be encouraged.
