Boy Scouts Planting Flags for Memorial Day
To mark Memorial Day, Knights of Columbus and the Boy Scouts will be at the Church of the Assumption cemetery Saturday, May 23, to plant flags at the graves of deceased military veterans.
The flag planting ceremony follows 4 p.m. mass at the church, at 305 East 77th St., Richfield, and the ceremony takes place as the veterans’ names are called.
