Big Day Bird-A-Thon at Wood Lake

Friends of Wood Lake fundraiser. Get a team together or as an individual for the opportunity to win fabulous prizes while helping bird conservation and education at Wood Lake Nature Center.

Registration is $30 per person, which may be collected through pledges for bird species seen. This is a 12-hour event; you're invited to participate for as much of it as you like. Birders are encouraged to raise as much financial support as possible; prizes will be awarded to the birders who raise the most.  Events include a live raptor show by the Raptor Center of MN, naturalist-guided bird hikes, bird feeder building with Elpis Enterprises, and opportunities to win fabulous prizes!  Tickets may also be purchased for $5 for just the MN Raptor Center Show on a first-come, first-served basis.  Call Wood Lake at 612-861-9365 for information.
