Nine Mile Creek is an important watershed area of Hennepin County - the SW area of Richfield is in it.  \n\n \n\nPeggy says she: "will discuss who is responsible for the water quality of Minnesota's streams\, lakes and wetlands.   We will look at who are the federal\, state and local agencies that regulate\, fund and manage our precious fresh water resources. We will explore some water quality improvement projects implemented in our community by the Nine Mile Creek Watershed District. Plans and photographs will help you understand how they function\, and the benefits they bring.
