The Richfield Chamber of Commerce will host a METRO Orange Line Tour with the Chair of the Metropolitan Council, Adam Duininck. All member businesses are invited to attend!
The METRO Orange Line will be the region’s fourth METRO line and will bring Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and light-rail-like amenities to the I-35W corridor. The Orange Line will connect Richfield at 66th Street and 76th Street to Minneapolis, Bloomington, and Burnsville. BRT will offer reliable, all-day service like the Blue and Green Lines with the flexibility and cost savings of bus transit.
The tour will highlight future station locations and their connection to economic development projects along the I-35W corridor. Chamber of Commerce members will walk away with a better understanding of the positive impact of the METRO Orange Line and an opportunity to have one-on-one conversations with Chair Adam Duininck. Please register online at richfieldmnchamber.org or contact Lori at 612.866.5100, as there are only 30 seats available on the tour bus. Coffee and pastries will be served!
